W9JAM AT-Service Tool v1.3

W9JAM AT-Service Tool is a Windows utility for reading and managing supported AnyTone service settings, factory options, dealer information, and programming-related data. It also includes profile backup and restore, automatic radio detection, and post-write verification.
This utility is not CPS software and is not intended to replace the AnyTone Customer Programming Software.
WARNING: You are responsible for ensuring that any changes made to your radio comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
Changing a radio’s Mode/Band settings may also affect your manufacturer or dealer warranty. Some dealers may consider Mode/Band changes grounds for voiding a warranty. W9JAM is not responsible for warranty issues resulting from changes made with this software.
Supported Radios:
- AnyTone AT-D168UV
- AnyTone AT-D578UV / AT-D578UVII
- AnyTone AT-D878UV / AT-D878UVII
- AnyTone AT-D890UV
Automatic radio detection has been hardware-verified on the AT-D168UV, AT-D578UVII, AT-D878UVII, and AT-D890UV.
Support for the AT-D590UV and AT-D570UV is planned once those radios are officially released and available for direct testing.
The W9JAM AT-Service Tool also works with radios based on the AT-D890UV platform, including privately labeled or dealer-rebranded models where the underlying radio platform is compatible.

Current AnyTone CPS and Firmware
In the table below you will find the links to the current versions of the AnyTone CPS and Firmware. Please remember before doing ANY firmware updates, to read the radio first with your current CPS, then go to Optional Settings, click on the Power-On tab. If your CPS has the option for Startup Reset at the bottom of that tab, make sure it is set to ON. Otherwise you will not be able to perform the MCU reset to initialize the new firmware. Also make sure you have APRS and GPS TURNED OFF before performing firmware updates.
| To make sure you download the correct one, check the label on the back of the radio, under the battery. If it says AT-D878UVII or AT-D878UVii Plus, download the first link. If it says AT-D878UV or AT-D878UV Plus, Download the second link | To make sure you download the correct one, on the radio to to the Menu, select Settings, then Device Info. If your current Firmware version starts with a 1, download the first file. If it starts with a 2, download the second file.

FAQ
Is W9JAM AT-Service Tool the same as AT-Options?
No. W9JAM AT-Service Tool is independently developed and does not use the original AT-Options source code. It performs many of the same kinds of factory-option and band-mode tasks on supported AnyTone radios while adding additional service and backup features.
